Master Dairy

The Master Dairy Program is an educational program of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture Department of Animal Science. Farmers interested in becoming a certified “Master Dairy Producer” will need to attend 2 of the various programs offered during each calendar year.  Subsequent modules will focus on financial planning and lameness. We anticipate this certification will satisfy the educational component for those intending to apply for the 50% cost share through the TAEP program. Dairy Producers, Dairy Farm Employees, Professional Consultants, Extension Educators, and others interested in learning about new options for managing dairy farms should plan to attend this program.
