CASNR students wishing to participate in EURēCA must complete and submit the EURēCA Application Form and the EURēCA Abstract Form. To participate in the CASNR competition, you must do the following: 1. COMPLETE APPLICATION FORM (due January 25) a. Fill out the EURēCA application form (attached to this message and available on the UTK Office of Research web page). b. Have your project advisor sign the form. c. Get the completed and signed application to Dr. Kimberly Gwinn. Three methods for application delivery: i. Scan and send the form to Dr. Gwinn (kgwinn@utk.edu); ii. Have your advisor send the completed form to Dr. Gwinn by e-mail stating with approval; iii. Bring to Dr. Gwinn’s campus office - 416 Plant Biotechnology by January 25 at 10:00. - Dr. Gwinn’s campus mail address is 205 Ellington. DO NOT DELIVER FORMS TO THIS ADDRESS. iv. Dr. Gwinn will send forms to the Office of Research. 2. COMPLETE ABSTRACT FORM (due February 20) a. Fill out the EURēCA Abstract Form (attached to this message and available on the UTK Office of Undergraduate Research web page). b. Have your project advisor review the form with you. c. E-mail the completed form to Dr. Gwinn (kgwinn@utk.edu) AND to Jane Taylor (Office of Research) (tayloje@utk.edu) by February 20 at noon if participating in CASNR competition. Engineering competitors should send to the Engineering Representative. 3. PARTICIPATE IN EURēCA a. March 18, 2011 i. Noon to 4 p.m. – Set up presentations ii. 5:30 – Judging begins (students are required to stay until they are told by judges that they can leave) b. March 29, 2011 i. 6:00 p.m. Awards ceremony ii.
