Food Safety Workshop for CASNR & UTIA Student Clubs

The Department of Food Science and Technology is presenting a workshop designed for those student clubs who do fundraising through preparing and serving food. The objective is to present how and why you must handle food safely so as to minimize the chances for causing a foodborne illness outbreak. The workshop normally costs $35 but is being provided free to members and advisors of CASNR and UTIA clubs by the Department of Food Science and Technology. The workshop will take place on Tuesday March 5th and Thursday March 7th from 4:15 pm to 6:30 pm each day; location to be determined. This is a two-part workshop; please plan to attend both days.
