Food Science Minor Requirements

The minor consists of 16 credit hours.
Applicants must complete:

  1. FDST 101 - Science of Foods
  2. FDST 241 - Food Preservation and Packaging
  3. FDST 410 - Food Chemistry
  4. FDST 420 - Food Microbiology

All applicants must also select 3 more credits from any FDST course that is three credits or more.

Food Technology Minor Requirements

The minor consists of 16 credit hours.
Applicants must complete:

  1. FDST 101 - Science of Foods
  2. FDST 241 - Food Preservation and Packaging
  3. FDST 390 - Food Laws and Regulations

Applicants must also select 7 more credits from the FDST courses.
