UT CASNR Chronicle, from the desk of Caula Beyl, Dean of the UT College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources

Perspective on the Future of Ag Leadership

What does the future hold for agricultural leaders? Fifteen students explored that question last fall in an intensive new seminar series offered by the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. To find answers, students met an array of standout current leaders, many of whom are alumni, to brainstorm together about the future of agriculture and how students can prepare for careers that meet society's projected needs.
