From the Senior Vice President
and Senior Vice Chancellor

September 25, 2020

The Institute continues to show very low numbers of active positive cases and self-isolations among all employees. This is a great indication that everyone is following CDC and University guidance to remain healthy and avoid spreading the coronavirus.

Information about the requirement for a flu vaccination for all employees was distributed today, and you can report your flu shot or opt out due to religious or medical reasons by following the instructions available in IRIS. A very brief training module is also available at K@TE; just log in and search for the term "vaccine."

We'll have a special guest next week, October 2, so be sure to join us at 2:00 p.m. for the weekly UTIA Fireside Chat. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to our teaching, research, and Extension programs.

Have a great weekend.
