Landscape Review at West Tennessee AgResearch Center

JACKSON, Tenn. - University of Tennessee Extension is hosting a special event for landscapers, growers or retailers who wish to stay current on best management practices for turf and landscape.

The 2016 Landscape Review will take place on Thursday, September 1, at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Jackson, Tennessee. A complete breakdown of the sessions is as follows:

-8:30 a.m. - Registration
-9 a.m. - ABC's of Pesticides
-10 a.m. - Turfgrass Pest Calendar
-11 a.m. - Overview of TDA Rules, Regulations and Certifications
-Noon - Lunch (on your own)
-1:15 p.m. - Know the Newest Tree Pests
-2:15 p.m. - Integrated Management Approach to Pest Control

This program will provide five pesticide recertification points in C3, C10 and C12, as well as four points in C2 and three points in all other categories.

While Landscape Review is designed to be an information field day for those in the horticulture industry, interested gardeners are also welcome to attend.
