JACKSON, Tenn. - For landscapers, growers or retailers who wish to stay current on best management practices for turf or landscape, University of Tennessee Extension is hosting a field day for you.

The 2018 Landscape Review will take place on Wednesday, September 26, at the UT West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Jackson.  The Landscape Review will feature walking tours of the UT Gardens, weed control updates and plant selection recommendations.  A complete breakdown of the sessions is as follows:

9 a.m. - Put the "Wallop" on Weeds

10 a.m. – Herbicides: Issues and Updates

11 a.m. – What’s Wrong with that Tree?

Noon – Lunch (on your own)

1 p.m. – Why You Should Snub that Shrub

2 p.m. – Walking Tour: Plant This Not That 

This program will provide five pesticide recertification points in C3, C10 and C12; two points in C2 and C6; and one point in C1. Points will be awarded at each session.

While the Landscape Review is designed to be an information field day for those in the horticulture industry, interested gardeners are also welcome to attend.
