This virtual symposium will focus on the therapeutic and recreational benefits of horticulture and gardening. 
Participants will explore how horticultural therapy, therapeutic horticulture, and gardening can improve healthcare and wellness outcomes for individuals. Sessions will provide opportunities to learn how to incorporate horticulture into healthcare and community settings. Participants will also explore how to develop a horticultural therapy program as part of an individual’s active treatment. Networking sessions will be offered for attendees to learn how others are using horticulture in their practice.


May 14-15, 2021
Cost: $50 UT Gardens Members/ $65 Non-members
Student Rates: $30
Registration will open March 2021.
